MY TIME, MY WINE
Photo by shalom melaku on Unsplash

I'm home from work and the time is mine,

So I decided to have a glass of wine.

My body's tired and my brain feels fried,

So here I sit doing my best to hide.

My break will soon be over and done

With reality, once again, has won.

Supper to make, the kitchen to clean,

I'll watch tv to see what I glean.

The day will be over, not much left to see,

Except on the couch, my husband and me!

This line stood out for me: My body's tired and my brain feels fried. Self-care is must when we start to feel this way for sure. Glad you end it with being on the couch with your favorite person 🤩🥳

Nothing wrong with a glass of wine after work. Go ahead with no inhibitions. Who knows I might of a glass myself. Good job.
