More Than Just Art

My Tats Tell A Story

A canvas; experience painted upon

Enhanced, portable graffiti

Becoming a colored chameleon

Each design combined, completes me

Subtle signs and phrases

Meant to expound my emotions

Giving more than names to faces

Recalling moments, dates and locations

Memories once worn on my sleeve

The ink and blood embraces

Making them a deeper part of me

A forever indeled creation

*So, what's your story*

I have never understood the whole tattoo thing, but that is just me. Where I live, you are the odd one out if you don't have a tattoo, and so many people have at least one or more limbs covered in tattoos. I think they call them sleeves.

    Lovely, Kelli <3 <3

  • I love this, Kelli! It explains why I have no tats. I have no story, lol.

  • Feels good to start reading again and of course you are on my list of creators to "catch-up" with. I feel some real strength coming from within and in how you worded this.
