Beautifully Broken

Repairing hearts with broken crayons

Blending colors outside the lines

Painting new rainbows with our tongues

Wanting to feel something inside

Beautiful edges, jagged and bleeding

Drawn to the needle, piercing the vein

Gathering remnants and discarded shavings

Molded and formed to be used once again

**

Broken crayons still color and broken hearts will beat again

    Wonderful

  • That they do, my friend. We always used them until there was nothing left. This reminds me of the Christmas story about the child who received a lump of coal & was thrilled with all the wonderful things he could do with it.

This is one way to move on from kinds of sadness one feels. Good job.

Yes. Grief and sorrow make shatter our hears on occasion.... but our souls are never so broken that it can't be healed. ⚡💙⚡
