My Suspicious Breaking Heart
A poem about grief and my brother who recently passed away
My suspicious breaking heart
stands still
because of the way you left
sudden and unexpected
wilted away abruptly
no words spoken
silent whispers
in the air
seeping suspicion
into my heart
butterflies swirling
aching my gut
a feeling you were
no longer here
as you surreptitiously
wandered away
quietly gone.

Words cannot explain
why this happened
or what happened
so I wait to be told
the reason
why I'm suffering.
I wish you could tell me
why you left so suddenly
without a word.
Perhaps, we could
speak in
my dreams
or somehow,
tell me
what caused you
to leave.
My suspicious heart
cries out
needing answers
of your death.
I ache,
wholeheartedly
and it hurts,
It would ease
my breaking heart
if the answer
to your death
drifted
into my head.
Speak to me.

Tell me
what I need to know.
Ease my poor heart,
so, I can help you
rest in deep, surrounding
peace.
Disheartening matter
rules our life
this present day.
It meanders our lost hope
like a winding, curving river
your soul
drifted away.
Speak to me in my ear.
Tell me, brother,
what occurred.
Let my heart and mind
be told,
so the pain may ease
my aching breaking heart
so we and you
can rest in peace
and smile once again
remembering you as a
happy soul.

So sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss. Deep emotional poem about loss.
So sorry again for your loss. I was able to feel your devastated through your words. It can be very difficult to accept things especially when we don't get closure. I can only imagine how you're feeling. Sending hugs and prayers your way
