Transition

By Daniel MarvinPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
Reminded me of my son

The day you were born I didn't realize,

The challenges you'd have to face,

The things about yourself you would morn,

or The bitterness you would taste.

but every step you Took to overcome,

The adversity placed in front of you,

Though hard for you and everyone,

That are of old and new,

even Though I didn't understand,

The changes that you need,

That what you did was not in my hands,

and Thus, my love for you could never receed,

The patience you showed the ones you love,

both The young ones and the elders,

Tells the story so far above,

whaT we could surely render.

Truly all of your life is a story

Telling how you came to who you are,

Though it's isn't all happiness and glory,

iT is very wonderful, by far

so now This makes me glad to see,

The person you've become.

it Took a while to appreciate who you are coming to be,

but it Truly makes me proud, to now call you my son.

The

it
