My Secret Dino Pal
Adventures with Rex: My dinosaur friend
I have a friend, he’s really neat,
With giant claws and stompy feet,
He hides behind my bedroom door,
His name is Rex, he’s from before.
He’s green and tall with shiny teeth,
He helps me with my sword and sheath,
We battle dragons, sail the sea,
My dino friend is just for me.
We play in forests, climb up high,
We touch the stars up in the sky,
He’s brave and strong, he never falls,
We run through caves with echo calls.
Mom says dinos aren’t around,
But I hear Rex’s thumping sound,
He whispers tales of long ago,
Of jungles thick and lava flow.
In my backyard, we dig for bones,
We find old treasures, ancient stones,
Rex says his home was far away,
Where lava flows and giants play.
At bedtime, Rex curls by my bed,
He guards my dreams, no need for dread,
With him around, I never fear,
My dino pal is always near.
Though grown-ups say they’re in the past,
My Rex is real, his friendship’s vast,
In my small world, he’s here to stay,
My dino friend, we laugh and play.
