Days of youth, so bright and clear,
A time of learning, a time so dear,
School memories, they linger on,
A kaleidoscope of moments gone.
The sound of chalk on a blackboard,
The smell of books that we adored,
The laughter, the jokes, the pranks we played,
The friendships formed, that never fade.
We learned of history, science, and math,
Of art, of music, of language that we had,
We stumbled, we fell, we rose again,
In a world so vast, where we were but a grain.
The halls we walked, the classrooms we sat,
The lunch breaks we enjoyed, the moments we chatted,
They may seem mundane, but they hold a key,
To a time so pure, where we were young and free.
Regrets we may have, of things left undone,
Of opportunities missed, of battles not won,
But we hold onto the memories we made,
Of a time that will never fade.
Days of youth, they may be gone,
But the memories remain, an eternal song,
Of a time so special, of a journey taken,
Of moments cherished, of a heart not shaken.

This was lovely 🥰 Well done! Yes they seem “mundane” at the time but when you are older there is that feeling of nostalgia and simplicity for those times back then. Love this! 😊👍
