Miror, mirror on the wall
May I just say that
You are the fairest of them all
Can I convey to you
How much my chocolate ooze
Does love thee and adore thee
Well then, since you do acquiesce
Let me count the ways
I worship and adore you
You make me look and feel so very wonderful
Both on the inside and especially on
My beautiful, elegant outside
Every day I hasten to peer into your lovely depth
So I can see myself so clearly and precisely
Reflecting back my gorgeousness through you
I want to let you know
How much I appreciate that my love for you
Reflects back to me as the same love you have for me
When my mirrored image is such a perfect likeness of myself
I could just hug my splendid form for ever and ever
Mirror, you speak not a word
Just sit quietly, serenely and a little patronizingly silent
I know that there is a touch of guilt at my inner self
For how can I spin and twirl and strut my stuff
While you, my best friend...my mirror...my conspirator
Can only watch me strut and preen and admire the rather
Handsome figure which you so obviously encompass
Within your pulchritudinous and attractive form

Mirror my love, I adore you
I hope I shall always have you as a dear friend
Because I will never have another friend like you
Who will stand and watch me quietly and constantly
As I, like a proud peacock
Seek your validation of my utterly perfected outer image
I know that you silently wish me good luck
And quietly whisper "have a nice day".
As I go forth to show the world
The pretty-as-a-picture image of me
As was first validated by my lovely best friend

This was neat. I resist calling it pure satire as it’s kinda on another level. It’s funny but also affectionate 🤗.. really cool what you’ve done here. It’s empowering somehow too.. and the mirror has such personality. This should have been a top story. Truly unique!
This was lovely and inspiring! Simply Brilliant!
Oh this was magnificent! I fell in love with the mirror and your poem!
nicely written. I'm thinking of something to write about for this one
🪞 Beautiful work! I envy your creative versatility. Perhaps your novel could incorporate some of your poems. If you could make them flow organically, naturally manifesting characters or story events... BFN 💙✍️💙
Love the title, and the confident flow. Good work!
I do love this. At my Nans bungalow, when I was a teen, she had a mirror and I always looked good in it. It always seemed to show my best side. I loved it! Your mirror reminded me of that. Thank you. Awesome piece. 👏💙😊
I love the words you use so much!
Very well done. I’m obsessed.
This is great. Well done.
Be very careful with the mirror. They can often lead to false positives... But I do love this one... ;)
