Beware And Be Warned
hear ye, hear ye
shut up and pay heed
they’ll drain your soul dry
squeeze the turnip till it bleeds
life is but a journey
nothings is as it seems
you can’t believe what you’re seeing
no matter what you read
because life’s just a game
and the world’s its arena
no rules ever the same
you’re gonna need a subpoena
if love was a dinner
then you’re the main course
they will steal your vigor
like a pirate on a porch
amazon offers free delivery
if you pay the right price
but you’ll never buy chivalry
because it’s no longer alive
there are warnings and announcements
all over the place
you simply have to look for it
it’s right in front of your face
take what you need
there is plenty to share

If You Love Me, You'll Do It
I met Jason when I was five years old. I could say that I loved him from the moment I saw him. He was so handsome to me and I felt in awe by his presence. When they introduced him as the new kid in school, I wanted to be his friend right away. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember his smile and how he didn't seem shy. He appeared confident and ready to learn. I waved at him and said "hello," before anyone else could even say a word. He sat next to me, and I asked him if he wanted to be friends. He looked so happy as he said, "Yes!"
