A plea for,
Broken souls, praying to end the
Craving, so much craving, leaving so much
Damage that may never be repaired.
Existential dread seems to coat the world,
Forgotten empathy leads to war and destruction.
Guidance is so far gone,
How did we expect this to go?
Immortalization seems to lead us farther from the
Justice that is deserved for all those
Killed at the hands of others in their claim of
Love - though all they love is
Money, it makes this world go round and
NO
ONE can stop it. So we
Plea, and pray, in hopes salvation comes one day, and we will finally find
Quiet.
Rest.
Stillness.
Tiring ourselves to death trying to be
Understood.
Virtually salvaging ourselves through
Websites that promote
Xenophobia and hate.
YOU can be the change and the difference, to be
Zealous in our adventures we call life.

Thoughts on Vocal and the way the world is
"Death cannot stop true love, only delay it." – Wesley in The Princess Bride. I decided to come back to Vocal on a very cold and dark night at the end of December. I had been, and still am, convalescing from a horrible staph infection that had gone misdiagnosed for months. This, paired with the increasing challenges of being healthy, making the best choices for my co-parented child, being a wife, and being a director at a new job, was a lot to manage.
