An event horizon is the threshold around a black hole. Beyond this boundary, nothing can escape the inexorable, crushing pull of a black hole, not even light.
Torus describes the shape of a donut or inner tube. Black holes and their event horizons may be ringed by an enormous gas cloud in torus form.

About the Creator
Sonia Heidi Unruh
I love: my husband and children; all who claim me as family or friend; the first bite of chocolate; the last blue before sunset; solving puzzles; stroking cats; finding myself by writing; losing myself in reading; the Creator who is love.

Excellent word age here, I didn't know what a torus was so thank you for explaining 😁
Dear Mrs. Sonia - So kind of you - Please pass 'Wheelchair Etiquette' to your daughter; I so "Feel" her too. I'm glad that I've discovered your incredible 'original' StoryTelling; a novelty of late. *As I scroll through them I've subscribed to you with pleasure. I'm just a retired Highly Scrutinized Legal Biz Writer - Morphed into a self described "Goof Writer'' - not entering contest/or stat counts. Sonia, this is just fun for me; nothing more. I've just written a story about a "Phone" with a very different slant - then bopped over to the 'Humor' section to clear my head: Ooh, I love to write on different topics as I see that you do. I'm not a book review snip guy. But, I see you're into 'Cats.' I've written a silly piece 'Rescue' on behalf - Pet Haven Minnesota - The Director is very much a Cat person. It's such a nice feeling that a (3) minute short brought them so many ReHome Adoptions. Ah, Sonia, the power of our pens. Whew ~ Sorry and I said I'm not into self-promotion ~ May I say that you have "Grace" ~ A Biggie with me ~ btw; If it ain't 'Chocolate' why bother - my motto - Jay Jay Kantor, Chatsworth, California 'Senior' Vocal Author - Vocal Author Community -
Beautiful. The significance of the title...I'm imagining terrible news. The words are surreal, the feeling, full of dread. Very well done here!
This was very clever. I love the science elements of it and the way you tied it in with the title and the picture. Great stuff, Sonia!
