My Own Darling

Promises Of Forever

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 11 months ago Updated 11 months ago 1 min read

I kiss the outline of your memory

part of you, you've left behind

I miss you beyond any degree

held for you, here, in my mind

distance has not killed the passion

I hold for you in my heart

fondness kept in managed rations

while my dear, we are apart

Love it - it reflects so well the feeling you have for someone that you love when they are separated by distance. 💗

  • May the distance not last too long, lest the "fonder" becomes "wander". Achingly beautiful, Kelli.
