My Obsession and Enchanting

Her Anklet

By Shital Ajit LondhePublished 2 years ago 1 min read

This poem is published by The Wordings in Poets Quest (co Author Shital Londhe).

My obsession and enchanting (her anklet)

"To savor the melody of her Anklets isto willingly embrace the depths of darkness, each night

For her rhythmic cadence is my enchanting obsession

A chime of silver, a whisper untold, A dance on the ankle, a story unfolds. Her anklet, a tapestry woven so fine,

With threads of moonlight and starlight divine.

Each tinkling cadence, a symphony's beat, My heart skips a rhythm, my soul incomplete. Obsessed with the music, it pulls me in deep,

Where dreams and desires in their slumber sleep.

The delicate chain, a symbol so bright, Of feminine grace and an exquisite light.

It shimmers and dances with every soft stride, Arousing within me a longing inside.

Oh, how I yearn to possess this one thing, To hold it close, to feel its sweet ring.

To understand the secrets, it whispers so near And unravel the magic that lingers so clear.

In the silence of night, when the world fades away, I close my eyes and the anklet's song plays.

Haunting melodies echoing in my mind, A constant reminder of what I cannot find.

Yet, in the obsession, a beauty resides,

A fire that burns and a passion that guides.

For it is the yearning for something beyond,

A love for the unattainable, a love that's profound.

And so, I shall cherish the sound of her chime, A bittersweet symphony, a love sublime.

For even in absence, it has taught me to see, The beauty of longing, the power to be free.
