My nurse
Cheryl has a big heart
She took good care of me
And while things got really dark
I feel better now you see
Early in the morning
She answers my call
By late in the evening
She is still giving her all
A job is more than a notion
Be Paid to put things on the shelf
A good nurse has a devotion
That reaches beyond their self
Death and me took a dance
And I looked that demon in the eye
He though there was a chance
He could make me die
When I felt really sick
Cheryl kept me safe
It is a special trick
To deny Death it’s fate
