Yeti

Himalayan snow ape

Yeti

The Sherpas tell of me.

I live on high glaciers.

If me you should see,

beware of lurking danger.

Me, you must respect.

Do no harm to the mountains.

On your deeds have some introspect,

or face my icy talons.

The mountains are my throne.

Their silence, my decree.

Harm this scarce stone,

and face the wrath of me.

Your livestock I will raid.

Your stores I will make my own.

I will put you in your grave

for my heart is cold as stone.

I am one of those kinds

that haunt what you know.

You can see my signs,

Foot prints in the snow.
