My Nightmare

When I cant Sleep

By Kaylynn Marie ThomasPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

People come, people go

It’s her life she’ll never know

Way too young, under ground

Never to be seen or found

Stolen from her nice warm bed

Won’t see her until she’s dead

Candy was there for the lure

But death is something you can’t cure

Only 4 of years

Eyes stinging with the tears

Death grip on her bear for security

She’ll never reach maturity

Trying hard to scream and shout

Only to get hit, she fades in and out

Body hurts pain stabs in tiny pins

Out of the dark the evil man grins

Can’t tell the time of day

She only wants to get away

At the age of 4 she gets raped

The twisted man has his conquest on tape

Body battered and bruised

She’s only there to be used

Tired she starts to cry

Knowing when he’s done she’ll die

This is a battle she’ll lose

Only to be on tomorrow’s news

Serial rapist got away

Now there’s an attack a day

Her body discarded, starting to wither

Found a week later in the river

Another screams into the night

Tears clouding her line of sight

Chilling wind blowing cold

She’s another 4 year old

This little one is only a pawn

Passes out too much blood gone

Knowing if she survives she’ll never be the same

Evil man cuts to maim

Up against the wall a little body chained up

He takes her blood cup by cup

Slowly dying, miraculous hue

Her body turns blue

A trophy her body to keep

In her last breaths she cries and weeps

She body shudders its last cries

For now here she dies

Outside the light fades away

Here he comes out to play

Two bodies floating side by side

All the little girls better run and hide
