my mother's memories

mother's day poem

By surendra nathPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

I can't believe you're not here

I miss you so much, I miss your laugh, I miss your smile

I remember you sitting in the car with me, holding my hand

I'm trying to keep a smile on my face but it's hard

And I miss you so much

I've been going through your clothes and I can't stop crying

I just wanna call you just to hear your voice

That's all I want, that's all I need

Just one day with you and that would be enough for me

I remember how much you loved to dance and sing along to the radio

The way that you would take care of me, always there for me

And I'll never forget it, never forget it

You were always there for me

And I want you to know that I will always love you; don't
