I look in the mirror
I wonder who's there
With frail cheek bones and wrinkles
I tried not to stare
*******************************************
I wonder where he went
I wonder where he has gone
The man with dark hair I once knew
And now I longed for
***********************************************
He once was a gentlemen
Full of dignity and strength
How is his life judged
By substance or length
*********************************************
He once was so active
His goals were completed
He's out of the game now
His energy depleted
*********************************************
Illness took from his body
But his spirit continues
Like singing in tune
To a symphony of lyrics
***********************************************
How much time is left
Well nobody knows
The stigma of time
That God only knows
**********************************************
