My gift of sight makes my life meaningful
I give thanks that I can see you, and you
I can see my loved ones through lens of joy
Every day that I awaken anew is a gift
I see poetry in every story that I read
I get ideas from every comment that you pen
Would that I could write them all upon the landscape
There are so many, some escape and fly away
On my way to scattering them all across the pages
I see a story in every beautiful word
I see pain, joy, laughter, tears and hope
I see deep into your hearts as you bare your souls
I see your love of my humble words
As you sing praises to my literary, modest creations
I find joy in reading your heartfelt works of art
I see the moon, the stars and the colors of the rainbow
Reflected in the waning and waxing of the seasons
I see you all within the Universe
And I am very, very thankful for you
And my marvelous gift of sight!

I actually only heard about this because of Grz's entry. This is beautiful, Novel. I always enjoy your thoughtful and heartfelt poetry. I shall give this a go, because it sounds like fun. I have a few ideas. This was a great piece though, don't let that be forgotten!
