My Love is Destroyed

Whispered Lies

By layali mumtazPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In shadows deep where silence weeps,

A love once strong now broken sleeps.

The whispered vows, the tender touch,

Now haunt my heart, a ghostly clutch.

The stars we wished on, dimmed their light,

Our dreams turned dark, lost in the night.

A shattered heart, a tear-streaked face,

In love’s cruel game, we lost our place.

The laughter fades, replaced by sighs,

A love that lived in whispered lies.

Our story ends in tattered lines,

A broken heart, love’s cruel designs.

In memories’ grasp, I find my pain,

A love once pure, now leaves a stain.

Yet in this wreck, I’ll find my way,

For broken hearts will heal someday.
