This was the beginning and I just didn't know it yet;
The story of the star crossed lovers, like Romeo and Juliette.
Man, we had no clue.
All the bullshit we would put each other through.
No matter the struggle, I knew I wanted it with you
I wish you understood how my love for you is true
Honestly, I can stare into your eyes and get lost in the Abyss
The way the light hits, turning into an emerald bliss.
It gets a hold of me and makes me reminisce
God baby, can't you see everything I'd miss.
That gentle touch of your skin on mine
I'd put you on a pedestal, a whole damn shrine
If that's the only thing to help define
how deep my love for you really shines.
We can fight these battles and clear the storms
baby, only if you hold me tight in your arms.
