A Poem

Vivid dreams in a world of black. From the brink you pull me back.

Insanity pulls and scratches at my face, but impurity is washed away by your embrace.Past troubles cover my hands in blood, You wash away my hate like a flood.Life throws chaos and despair in my wake while your warmth will not let me break. Words my mouth will not let you hear, In my heart shall never disappear. Forever is gone too quickly; One day seems to last an eternity. In your heart lies love's great magnificence,

In your soul lies the last refuge for innocence.
