My kind of Colorful:
Narrative Poem
No flout;
the boldest individuals
have infamous past
Living unafraid
to make a “splash”
Leave the wackiness
to the weirdos
the whimsically strange
Catalyst for change
Bend the rules, breaking with convention
Boisterous, poor choices,
hard learned lessons, avid risk takers
Frayed, Filigree, fretwork
These radical vagabonds
Living unafraid
to be authentic
No flout;
leave outshining
to the outlandish misfits
All the freaks;
called eccentrics
No flout;
Leave uproarious
to the unusually curious
All the loners
called outsiders
Uncontrollable, Unapologetic, Unbreakable
Be flashy as a photographer
Be splashy as a painter
Be pithy as a poet
These are my kind
of colorful souls
