My Huntress

Where the wild things fall in love

Slither. Crawl. Scurry. Growl.

All take cover

as you prowl,

as I should have done.

Swoop. Glide. Snatch. Wail.

"Hush now, love,

no need to run,

this will be over soon—you won't survive."

Writhe. Thrash. Surrender. Cry.

Soft as dusk,

thick with musk,

undone

and I'm yours to feast alive.
