My Hopes For You

As I say goodbye to the old you, I say hello to the new you that I haven't met before. It's you, but within a new chapter; a new font.

Meeting you was amazing. I knew from the moment we met, you were different. My kind of different. The kind of different I needed.

Over time, we stood in places nearby, but far from the heart. Now, I can't imagine you not part of my heart.

The universe new chaos would ensue if blood were to unite us. So, instead, it is the loyalty and love that binds us.

I'm glad to have known this version of you for as long as I have. Farewell to them. I hope they have a safe trip to the newest version of home.

Hello to my new friend. I know we know each other by words of mouth and stories of the past.
