My Home Inside

A poem about what home means to me

My home is inside where no one ever goes

That’s why I like it, it’s my humble silent abode

It’s where I go where I’m tried and I’m stressed

It’s where I go when everything else is just a mess

It’s in my blood, my bones in fact it’s in everything really

There is no division it’s available freely

Come to your home within you too

Come beyond the black and blue

It’s beating in your heart

Just to be silent is the art

To come in contact with that goodness

It’s the truest experience

Let go and melt in this wonderful delight

Don’t hang on to what touches the light

Once you’ve seen it, you’ve been it

There’s no going back

No one could ever push you off that track

It’s within, just close your eyes and you will see

That everything around you will never let you be

It’s a freedom that we have and I hope you can all know it

It’s the place I call home and I want you all to know it.
