Sitting here waiting for my brother to be done
He is having an assessment, and I'm sure it's not fun
I drive a Chevy
My Grandson says it's heavy
Whatever does that mean?
A compliment or is he being mean?
My car is newer than my Honey's
But he says I put too many miles on Chevy's
He says he has to change the oil 4-5 times a year
I whisper in his ear
What a nice, sweet Dear
you are. Then I say whatever would I do
without my Honey bunny boo
It works! Silly, I know
He wanted to change it today, but I had to go
I couldn't wait until tomorrow
He will be changing my oil in the snow!

Author's Note: Heavy Chevy was around in the 70s, and it was a performance-oriented version of the Chevelle, designed for young buyers seeking a sporty car at an affordable price. I didn't own one then, but I have owned a few sporty cars and trucks in my day.
