My Heart Speaks, But You Say Goodbye

Whispers of Love, Echoes of Goodbye

By Ali Sadeek AhmedPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

My Heart Speaks, But You Say Goodbye

My heart whispers words so true,

But all you say is just "goodbye."

You leave me longing, lost in pain,

Forsaken love, a heart in vain.

I've loved you for so long,

Dreaming of a day you'd come along.

Not once did I forget your name,

Yet still, you play this distant game.

My heart speaks words so true,

But all you say is just "goodbye."

Your love once shined, a light so bright,

Yet when I fell, you left my sight.

If one day love calls your name,

Searching for the spark, the flame,

Would you still be there to stay?

Or would you turn and walk away?
