My Heart Is In A Lock And Chain

You will never get near it, to break it ever again

My Heart Is In A Lock And Chain

I keep my heart locked in chains,

Secured from all your past remains.

You’ll never get in to break it anew,

For I’ve built a wall to keep out you.

I’ve shut the door, I’ve turned the key,

No place for you in the core of me.

My life, my soul, my mind, my part,

free from the grip you had on my heart.

No whispers linger, no shadows stay,

I’ve cast your memory far away.

My whole being can now live true,

Unchained, unbound, and free of you.

This is one way to help others deal with past relationships. Good job.
