My first 4 days of the week

Days as colors and emotions alike

Sundays are red, red is the danger zone

as I recall how dangerous it felt to be around you

Mondays are green

green for growth, green for hope, green for the gloat

because life has started to treat me better

because other people started treating me better, better than you ever could.

Tuesdays are white

what a beautiful blank space, almost like a clean slate

or an empty plate, where I have control, and I take back the power

and re-write this journey, that's no longer ours

And Wednesdays

weepy creepy Wednesdays used to be black but now it's yellow

representing a bright start, reflecting my emotions by heart

as my passions jumpstart, and the reflection of my past falls apart.
