My fair-weather lover.
“After the rain comes fair weather…..”

Are you truly my supporter, steadfast and true?
Will you stand by my side as you’ve sworn to do?
Do you mean every word you’ve spoken in praise of my name,
Or are you here for the glory, caught up in the fame?
__
Is declaring my name a show of your love,
Or just a way to profit from being above?
If things were to change and I fell from my height,
Replaced by another in the public’s sight,
___
Would your words remain loyal, or would they depart?
Would you heed my call and come from the start?
When flattery fades and shame starts to show,
Will you understand my plight or choose to forgo?
__
In the end, will your loyalty stand,
Or will you walk away, leaving me in the sand?
Oh, my fair weather lover, don’t leave me in the storm.
All these doubts test your true nature.
__
Come walk with me as I navigate these waves.
I’ve promised to hold your hand…. yet you seek safer caves.
You refused to come, preferring the calm,
Leaving me to face the tempest, alone and disarmed.

About the Creator
Marvelous Michael
I’m so glad you are here!
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”
