My fair summer, you inspire me to write.

I love the way you kiss, sigh and caress,

Pervading my mind day and through the night,

Always dreaming about your warm night’s kiss.

Let me compare you to a temperate tune?

You are more gentle, ephemeral and warm.

Still sun heats the splendid peaches of June,

And summertime brings your ecstatic storm.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.

I love your perfect breeze, fragrance, and sun.

Thinking of your bright lilies fills my days.

My love for you and your unending fun.

Then you must away from my saddened heart,

Remember my warm words whilst we're apart.
