I secretly like you,

But I'm not going to tell you;

I won't say a single word,

No, not today!

As much as I try to,

Hide my heart in silence,

Flutter, flutter!

My eyelashes give it away,

Tomorrow arrives,

And I see you standing,

At the same bus stop,

Woah!

My cheeks are sizzling,

Flutter, Flutter!

My eyelashes give it away,

I only want friendship,

Who am I kidding?

My eyelashes are telling all!

The secrets I'm keeping,

I can't hide it any longer,

The truth is getting closer,

But before my mouth does

a runner;

Flutter, flutter,

My eyelashes give it away!

    They say the eyes are a window to your soul. What your lips don't say, your eyes give away. Nicely Done Carol!

    Ah, the betrayal of eyelashes—silent snitches of the heart! Love the playful tension and secret-spilling flutter. Cute and charming!
