My Colour is not Unique.

The diversity of the colours that are combined in my roots, that is a unique combination. For it's the only combination that makes me.

Red, yellow, peach, brown, black.

They’re in us all if we look far enough back.

Shades may differ, opinions too

Focusing on colour, such a silly thing that we do.

From wars we get nations

From nations we get pride

Imaginary lines called borders divide.

Love with out vision, see from the heart

That’s a colourless place for us all to start.

If we then continue without taking a peek

We can love one another and without colour, still be unique.
