My CB Radio Days
Dr. Kiss, kiss on my CB radio,
Cheers me up, makes me smile,
Breaker, brake, no, not just yet,
Says Dr. Kiss, quite upset.
Let’s talk before the skip rolls thin,
Your voice will vanish then.
Till we message again, my friend.
A shot chat, a quick hello.
The static hums, the signal’s thin,
But we push through, both holding on In.
Don’t fade away, just stay a while,
Let’s keep it going, let’s share a smile.
Lost him now, channels start to bleed,
I switch to a local chat at speed.
The crackle shifts, the voices change,
But something still feels right,
I love My CB radio, day and night.
yet feels and so strange today.
The signal fades, but I don’t mind,
A new connection, I will find.
In the airwaves, voices blend,
We’ll catch up soon, we’ll talk again.
breaker break till another day
When American voices come back my way.
