My Breakup Nonet

The Grass Ain’t Greener

By Earl W. PearlPublished about a year ago 1 min read

When I told her, “It’s not you, it’s me”

I just knew she’d beg me to stay

But I miscalculated

When I said, “It’s over

I’m just not happy”

I thought she’d cry

But she smiled

And said

“Bye”

For Fun
