My body is my home wherever I may go
An original poem

Seattle, Wa (my home in a physical sense)
Looking for ink on blank pages
Crawling through stages
Brain frozen crossing guard on a snow day
Notice the wind
And feel it 40 more times
Fingertip frost
Wondering if I’m still sick of the sun
On a cold rainy day
I’ll count all my change
Maybe I’ll meet a new lover
Wipe her sweat from my thighs
Maybe I’ll find a new toy
I learn to despise
I’ve got cash I’ve got dimes
Regrets in the rearview and I’m not afraid to die
There’s a ghost in my childhood bedroom
Push the door open
Please don’t run
please don’t hide
Street smart fool with nothing to lose
The colors speak in code
All the patterns im breaking
I’ve got soil from the west to bury them deep in the snow
For my body is my home
Wherever I may go
