African Nose Abstract Art by Kemi Solanke

I love my wide nose

My wide African nose

No, it is not straight like an arrow

Big

Black

African

Nose

It reminds me that I come from a land of diamonds and gold.

I am a beautiful woman, with my chocolate brown skin

I am beautiful on the outside and beautiful within

I do not need to be caramel or honey for the bees

No need for you to add milk to your coffee or tea

I am coal, you can use me to light up your world

I will keep the fire burning and make your toes curl

I am oil, I will keep you moving by granting you fuel

I am unique, I am strong, I am a precious jewel.

I am the fruit of the cacao, the bark of a tree

I am wild, I am beautiful, pride radiates from me

Prominent like my status, my nostrils are wide

So I can breath the sweet perfume of the tide

No, this big African nose I cannot hide

No bronze, or brown shading, no smooth foundation

No photoshop for an original creation

Oh, what a sublime, magnificent formation.

I love my wide nose

My wide African nose

No, it is not straight like an arrow

Big

Black

African

Nose

It reminds me that I come from a land of diamonds and gold.
