MS 11 and A.I. .. Stop!

AI creativity stifler

By Andrew C McDonaldPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

My Microsoft Word

Suddenly is quite absurd

With MS11 it’s taken over by a.i.

Making me tear at my hair and give a suffering sigh

Wishing merely to write a new file

It insists on making me wait a while

As it forces me to say the gist of what I want

So it can write for me from a given prompt

I do not wish to have some program write my tales

Even if it would possibly make sales

I want to think, cogitate, imagine, dream

As I WRITE my stories torrid or serene

So give me back my personal control

Even if I write something quite droll

My satisfaction is derived from creating

From my human mind without debating

With some soulless writing machine

That neither can imagine nor dream

slam poetry

Oooo, cogitate is a new word for me. It sure sucks that you're experiencing this

    So on point <3

  • Hi Andrew! It is annoying how those apps interfere with our writing. I just simply deactivate the automatic function. Great rhyme scheme.

  • I hate those prompts and changes stuff like Grammarly throws up. Well said
