Mournful Acceptance

Dear Men,
We miss you.
Deeply.
When women gather together in circles.
We tell stories of how much we long for you.
Crave you.
Pray for you to rise and come back
From the caves we banished you to.
We mourn and miss your presence.
In our childhoods.
In the homes we’ve built without you.
In our beds.
We hold hands and beg God to give you
the strength to set you free from our misguided intolerance and hatred
We yearn to have you standing at our side.
Right here.
Here In intimacy.
In integrity.
In wholeness.
In freedom
We feel your pain and we see your power.
We miss you.
We love you.
We can’t wait for you to come home
And for the men who have
Thank you so much.
Please call your brothers.
start men’s circles.
Show them the manuals.
Remind them of their divine beingness
Tell them of what we forced you to give up
But are willing to return to you
Of your brokenness that we caused
Of what it truly means to take up the mantle of protector, father and lover
Please.
There aren’t enough men to divinely love
The women have tried and failed to
Force unholiness upon you
We realize we can’t do it without you
And that we are two parts of a whole
We cannot be independent of you, nor you us.
We ask for your forgiveness
We realize the restoration must come from within the Divine Masculine.
We cannot force others to our will
Which is the antithesis of the Divine Feminine
We tried.
We bow out.
In regretful acceptance
And we will wait for you to burst free from the shackles we have placed on you.
We pray.
We pray.
We pray.
We pray for your forgiveness
