Today’s the day, the sun is out
Lighting up the land
Fortune doesn’t favour
The ones who simply stand
So get up and get out there
Put a smile on your face
Say “hello” to all you meet
Spread joy instead of hate
Take a look at what you have
Instead of what you’ve not
Smile at the wonder
Realise just what you’ve got
It’s out there for the taking
The life that you are craving
Just work out how to get it
Change how your brains behaving
The chance is yours
The day is new
The sun is out
The sky is blue
Let’s get it done, let’s make it work
Don’t focus on the crappy
Just stand on up and work it out
Soon you’ll be feeling happy ❤️
