Mother's day poetry

a short paragraph and a poem dedicated to mothers

By Jennisea RedfieldPublished 2 years ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

Although it is a few weeks late, here is a poem for the mothers out there who fought hard to turn us into the people we are today. Here is a poem to the women who bore us in their belly, who fed us and nurtured us, who loved us with everything they could give.

My dear mother,

I know you've made mistakes,

I know I made them too.

But at the end of the bright day,

I will never stop loving you.

When i turn old and grey,

i think of our time together.

When we part at the end of the day

I will only have just this to say;

"I could never love another,

as much as I love my mother."

Happy belated Mother's Day.
