Mother of us all

Under her skin

You were first in line

Mother of all mothers

Adam couldn’t match you

You didn’t beg

For his honour.

A stronger being

May have nurtured you.

You’re not all bad

Just refused to be

Taken for granted

An equal lover

Is all you craved for

Not someone that made you sad.

You water me

I’ll water you

You cried out every day

Yet it was only the fallen

Angel that could love you that way.

Lilith today

Is tired of procrastination

And watching

Women’s egos rule

She screams

‘Not all men are selfish’

They tend their lovers needs

First and for most

Otherwise

Their lovers are not free.

A heady lesson

In these modern times

To treat your lover equally

Treat them well

And they will come and play

In the garden

Full of plenty.

But heed her warning

Thick and fast

Those that play too quick

Or with many

Will feel

Her energy running

Thorough

You in every

Aspect of your depravity.
