Mother Earths Cry

Can you hear me

Can you feel me

Can you see me

My name is Mother Earth

And I am dying

Do you not hear my pain

Do you not feel my pain

Do you not see my pain

Why can’t you hear the sounds of my icebergs breaking apart

Why can’t you hear the sound of my oceans crashing

Why can’t you hear the sounds of my seabed’s twisting and turning

Why can’t you hear the explosion in my mountains

Why can’t you hear the crackling fire through my trees

Why can’t you hear the thunder caps of my anger

Why can’t you feel the snow or the rain

Why can’t you feel the damp morning dew

Why can’t you feel the hot summer days

Why can’t you feel the sand on your toes

Why can’t you feel the wind on your face

Why can’t you feel the love I have for you

Why can’t you see the birds fly south

Why can’t you see my sun beams

Why can’t you you see my sunsets

Why can’t you see my moon lights

Why can’t you see my waterfalls

Why can’t you see my tears

I have taken care of your race for hundreds of thousands of years,

I know you all by name. Haven’t I provided for you my beautiful

children? Do you not respect and love your mother, your

grandmothers, your elders? Or did you forget how? I have

only seen the greatness in all of you, even after I have been gutted .

Your race takes for granted all the things

that my love for you provides. Instead of trying to fix what you

have broken, you choose to look for other worlds to watch die. Do you

think that another planet would be as beautiful as mine?

I still have hope in all of you to do the right things, I need you as

as you need me, if you wish to hear the sparrow sing or to dance

In the rain, mark my words things need to change. Tomorrow is

never promised. If you wish to see the rainbow after the storm

Change the way you think and honor your home!

The end or is it
