Hickory dickory dock

We go round and round the clock

Hearing nothing but tick tock

Mary lost a sock

*

Peter invested in the stock.

Paul became a doc.

So don’t you dare mock,

The way I walk

*

Can you see the lock?

It can be made to unlock,

If one said they wanted to go to Bangkok

And if you were to wear a lovely frock

*

So please, don’t be in shock.

That I have all colors of chalk

To use on that rock

That is in stock

*

So can we please use the Wok

While we sit down and talk

And discuss Mr. Spock

Wearing a painter’s smock.

About the Creator

Mother Combs

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
