I drown in this dreaded abyss called life.

As my throat twists and I'm not able to speak nor breathe.

Heart paces to find the light of hope.

I wonder how long it will take to rise and start my day.

Our mind sometimes can be our most generous friend and our most damaging enemy. It depends on how we perceive the predicament we're in. When writing this piece, I looked over how sometimes it might be difficult for some to start their day in the morning. We can try let go of the wandering thoughts that linger in your mind. However, I know this is easier to say than to be done. It isn't easy to control what's in our mind, but we can try to guide it with mediy=tation and self-reflect by journaling our thoughts. Indeed this is a process, and for those who can resonate, you are strong, and you will come to a better place.
