Step 1.
Chuck it in the freezer within two hours of death
Before rigor mortis sets in.
When thawed out it’ll be easy to work with and
Freeze-dried retains its cute grin.
Step 2.
So, first you must make a ventral incision
Along the underside.
Replace the innards and organs with silicone.
Then it needs seven months to dry.
Step 3.
Here’s a good tip: Go with the grain of the hair.
Make a dorsal cut fine.
From the bottom of the skull to the base of the tail
Cut straight along the spine.
Step 4.

When you peel back the skin.
Then around the paws, mouth, nose and eyes you must Ever so carefully trim.
Step 5.
So there you have it, my tutorial’s done
Truthfully based upon fact.
But ’tis true, there is probably more than one way
To skin poor Tiddles, the cat.
