A poem about becoming.

Precious stones

Soaked in moonlight

Reminds me of rites

And passages.

Come out.

The cave is dark.

Forget the ending draught,

Move on.

It's time.

Hear it calling you?

The more you resist

The more tired you become.

Open up.

A flower to the sun,

A bloom to the night,

Glowing soft.

Night creature.

See the potential of the soul.

Death means rebirth.

Be strong.

Fear not.

Fear speaks up first,

Its voice so loud.

Be aware.

Darkness around

Because you are the light.

A shinning beacon,

A glaring symbol

Of hope.

Night calling.

Comfort for the change.

Gentle scent assuages

Any guilt the passage gave.
