Moon

It never makes a difference.

By Ivy RozenPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

I’ll write you a letter

So that you’ll feel better

About all this distance between us

I’ll help you remember

At least ‘til we’re together

I hope it makes a difference and reaches

You soon

‘Til then just watch the moon

And pretend I’m next to you

‘Cause I’ll be looking at it too

Wondering why it’s so far away

But something’s got to give

No matter where we live

I’ll send my feelings on paper planes

I’ll write you letters

Every day ‘till we’re together

Forget about the distance

Know it never makes a difference
