MOON AND STARS.

Moon and stars, a dance in the night,

In the velvet sky, their glow is so bright.

One without the other, lost and cold,

A story of light that’s left untold.

The moon’s soft glow, a guiding ray,

Reflects the sun’s love, far away.

But it’s the stars that frame her grace,

Twinkling gems in a boundless space.

The stars alone, though fierce they gleam,

Without the moon, they lose their dream.

For in her silver, they find their song,

A harmony where they belong.

Together they paint the night so clear,

A symphony that we hold dear.

For moon and stars, in heaven’s dome,

Are never meant to shine alone.

Hand in hand, they light the skies,

Guiding travellers, catching eyes.

A timeless pair, forever bright,

Moon and stars, the heart of night.

I liked your use of metaphors. Usually poets use metaphors from the night sky. Well.
